I posted this screenshot at another forum and apparently the folks there thought that this was suppose to be modern Japan. I must be doing something wrong if it seems that way.

Well, I just opened up this dev-log again. Now that it is summer and everything is all great and cheerful, I can finally start working on this game again. Hip, hip hurrah! I will have actual content on here soon. This is just a test post.

This game takes place in the year 1905 where the young immigrant policeman Deshi Liu struggles with everyday life with his disadvantaged background. As a way to dispose of him, the police department keeps him in a unit that deals with practically insolvable cases under the jurisdiction of Balthasar, a once prominent detective who has fallen from grace for nearly half a century. In order for him to rise up the food chain, Deshi must solve the famous ten-year-old case, the Murder of MacIntyre Manor.
